Thomas P. Barth, CIC
Tom is a 1971 graduate of the Ashland University School of Business. He entered the insurance business in 1971 with the Central Mutual Insurance Company, and eventually moved onto the agency side of the business. Tom started with hpa in 1976 and is now the president and owner. In addition to handling the management of the agency, Tom also sells and services commercial insurance clients, applying his 36 years of insurance experience. Tom and his wife Kerry have three children, Brett, Gregory, and Stefanie. Tom belongs to, and has served as an officer of numerous community organizations, including five years as Chairman of the Board of the Bellevue Hospital.

Tommy Mygrant, CIC
Tommy is a 1994 Graduate of Bellevue High School and a 1998 Graduate of Wittenberg University, where he received his Bachelor Degree in Economics and Business Management. Following college he returned to his hometown and joined the HPA staff in 2001 as an agency Producer. In 2004 Tommy earned the professional "Certified Insurance Counselor" designation. He is a current member of the Bellevue Rotary International Club and for several years has been an assistant football coach for Bellevue High School.

Karen Snyder, Customer Service Representative
Karen is a 2003 Graduate of Bellevue Senior High School. She joined the HPA staff in the spring of 2003 and received her "Property & Casualty" Agents license that October. Karen services the personal lines policies that have last names ending in L-Z.

Brett Barth, Agent
Brett is a 1994 Graduate of Westlake High School, and a 1998 Graduate of Bowling Green State University, where he received his Bachelor Degree in Sports Communications. Following college graduation he has worked for companies such as the Cleveland Browns, Greens.com, and Red Bull Energy Drinks. He started as a producer with HPA in 2005, and is currently working towards his Certified Insurance Counselor’s designation. Brett is also active in the local community through the Bellevue Rotary Club.

Jennifer Sumser, Customer Service Representative
Jennifer is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with an Associates Degree in Business. She has been in the insurance industry for nine years. She started at HPA in 2004 working as a personal lines agent. She handles policies with last names starting with A through K. She is married to her husband Jim, and has two children, Jakob & Jillian.

Cheryl Austin, Commercial Line CSR
Cheryl is a graduate of Bellevue Senior High School. She has been a licensed Property and Casualty Agent with Hasselbach & Paul since 1981. Cheryl has served as a Personal Lines Customer Service Agent from 1981-2000. In 2000 she took over as Commercial Lines Service Agent and has served in that role for 7 years. Cheryl is proud to be a lifetime Bellevue resident where she and her husband, Craig, have raised their 3 sons Ryan, Cory, and Kyle.

Ethel Lee, Accounting
Ethel has worked in the Accounting field of business for 42 years. She has worked at Hasselbach & Paul Agency in this capacity for 20 years. Ethel is married to her husband Timothy, and has three sons, Chris, David, and Mark. In addition to her three sons, she has three grandchildren as well, Matt, Aaron, and Brooke.
